Description

When your plants need a little extra of one specific nutrient, Canna Mono delivers a clean, precise solution. These highly concentrated, single-element (or trace-mix) nutrients let you correct deficiencies or fine-tune feeding without disturbing the rest of your nutrient programme. Ideal for growers using soil, coco, hydro or mixed-media setups.

Canna Mono is not a full-spectrum fertiliser: each bottle contains one key nutrient (or a trace-element blend), such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron or a Trace Mix.
This targeted approach allows you to address specific nutrient shortages, for example a magnesium or iron deficiency, without oversupplying other elements. It’s particularly useful when using purified or RO water, re-using substrate or running specialised nutrient programmes.
Canna Mono is fully compatible with Canna base nutrients (such as Coco A & B, Terra or Hydro) and other nutrient lines, making it a flexible add-on for both new and experienced growers.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Precise Deficiency Fixes: Supplies a single nutrient or trace-element mix, ideal for correcting deficiencies without upsetting overall nutrient balance.
  • Boosts Specific Growth Needs: Nitrogen supports leafy growth, Potassium strengthens cell walls, Magnesium and Iron support photosynthesis, while Trace Mix aids enzyme activity and plant health.
  • Enhanced Nutrient Control: Allows fine-tuning of nutrient ratios, especially useful with RO or soft water, coco, hydro or custom feeding programmes.
  • Compatible With All Media Types: Suitable for soil, coco coir, hydroponics, rockwool and mixed-media systems.
  • Supplement Rather Than Base Feed: Designed to work alongside a complete nutrient programme rather than replace it.
  • Ideal for Rescue or Targeted Boosts: Useful when plants show deficiency symptoms, after lockout issues, or to support specific growth phases.

How to Use

  • Identify the deficiency first by observing plant symptoms and confirming which nutrient is lacking.
  • If nutrient imbalance or pH issues are suspected, consider flushing the medium with plain water before application.
  • Mix at approximately 10–20 ml per 10 L of water (around 1–2 ml per litre), depending on the product and severity of deficiency.
  • Add to your regular nutrient solution and mix thoroughly. Avoid mixing incompatible concentrates directly.
  • Monitor plant response and return to standard feeding once symptoms improve.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When should I use Canna Mono?
Use Mono when a specific deficiency is identified or when you need to fine-tune nutrient ratios beyond a standard base feed.

Can Mono replace a complete nutrient programme?

Is Mono suitable for soil, coco and hydro systems?
Yes, all Canna Mono products are compatible with soil, coco coir, hydroponics and rockwool media.

Can I mix different Mono products together?
Some combinations can cause issues if mixed directly or overused. Always follow dosage guidelines and avoid mixing incompatible concentrates.

Will Mono help when using RO or very soft water?
Yes, Mono is particularly helpful for correcting macro- or micronutrient deficiencies that can occur with low-mineral water sources.
