Organic base nutrients. Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice Grow (OG Organics) is a one-part organic feed for the vegetative stage. Switch to Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice Bloom (OG Organics) for flowering. For more base feeds from other brands, see our base nutrients range.
Roots. Advanced Nutrients Piranha adds beneficial fungi to the root zone to help build a bigger, healthier root system, which means better nutrient uptake. Use it in early growth.
Flowering boosters. Advanced Nutrients Big Bud is a classic phosphorus and potassium bloom booster for soil, coco and hydro, used to increase flower size and weight. Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Coco takes the same formula and adapts it for coco coir. It includes iron, which coco tends to lock up and which plants grown in coco often run short of.
Carbohydrates. Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy is a mix of natural sugars and carbohydrates that gives plants energy and feeds the beneficial microbes around the roots. It's part of the Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect range.
Biostimulant. Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X is a biostimulant for flowering, aimed at flavour, aroma and overall crop quality. It is made for hydroponic media and continuous liquid-feed systems.
Late flowering. Advanced Nutrients Overdrive is used in the final weeks of flowering to keep plants producing rather than slowing down, for denser, heavier flowers at the finish.
Choosing the right Advanced Nutrients products
Start with your base feed, then add only what you need. Think about timing and your growing medium:
Base feed. If you want an organic programme, use Iguana Juice Grow through veg and Iguana Juice Bloom through flowering. If you already have a base feed you like, the additives below sit on top of it.
Early growth. Piranha supports the root zone while plants are getting established.
Early to mid flowering. Advanced Nutrients Big Bud is the main yield booster. If you grow in coco, choose Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Coco instead, because it allows for coco's habit of holding on to iron and calcium.
Throughout flowering. Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy gives plants and root-zone microbes a steady supply of carbohydrates. Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X is aimed at quality rather than weight.
Final weeks. Overdrive takes over late in flowering to help plants finish strongly.
You don't need everything. A common setup is one PK booster plus Overdrive to finish. Always check the label dosage and adjust pH after adding everything. Our Advanced Nutrients feed chart explained guide covers how the base feed and boosters fit together and when to add each one.

Advanced Nutrients FAQs
Can I use Advanced Nutrients boosters with other brands?
Yes. These are additives designed to go alongside a base feed, so most growers use them with the nutrients they already have. Browse more options in our additives and boosters range.

Yes. We stock Iguana Juice Grow and Iguana Juice Bloom from the OG Organics range, which are organic one-part base feeds for the grow and bloom stages.
What's the difference between Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Coco?
The Coco version is the same idea adapted for coco coir, with added iron to suit the way coco holds on to nutrients.

When do I use Overdrive?
In the final weeks of flowering, after your main bloom booster.
