Description
Aptus Regulator is a plant-strengthening additive built around a patented formula that acts as a nutrient transporter: it increases the absorption and bioavailability of other nutrients in your feeding programme, so plants take up and use what you're already feeding them more efficiently. It's designed to be the cornerstone of any plant nutrition programme, used alongside your base nutrients rather than instead of them.

What's in Regulator
- Mono-silicic acid (Si): the main nutrient transporter in the formula.
- Boron (B): a precursor that enhances calcium uptake and fibre production.
- Molybdenum (Mo): moves nitrogen from lower, older leaves to new upper growth.
Why use Regulator
- Improves bioavailability, absorption and utilisation of nutrients already in your feed
- Builds stronger cell structure and a tougher epidermis layer, for sturdier plants and thicker stems (increases dry weight)
- Helps resist abiotic stress: temperature swings, wind, drought
- Helps resist biotic stress: pests and pathogens
- Reduces and controls internode spacing caused by temperature stress or unbalanced nutrition
- Increases resistance to salinity (nutrient salt build-up)
- Reduces transpiration (moisture loss from the leaves)
How to use Regulator
Regulator is highly concentrated (1:6660 dilution), so a small dose goes a long way: just 1.5ml per 10 litres of water is enough to see an effect, which also makes it cost-effective to run.
- Always mix Regulator into a tank of clean water before adding any other fertilisers, boosters or crop protection products.
- Mix until it's evenly distributed through the water, then continue adding the rest of your feed.
- Keep water and dirt out of the Regulator bottle.
- Use dry, clean syringes or measuring cups when extracting it.
The science in brief
Boron is the basis for a lot of other nutrient uptake: it particularly enhances calcium uptake and stimulates fibre production, for better quality and more dry matter. Molybdenum is a key part of the nitrogenase enzyme's activity, when nitrogen is in short supply, plants draw on molybdenum to keep that enzyme active, which is how nitrogen gets moved from old leaves into new leafy growth.

Aptus Regulator FAQs
Does Regulator replace my base nutrients?
No. It's an additive that improves how well your plants take up and use the nutrients you're already feeding: it works alongside a base feed, not instead of one.
When do I add it to the tank?
Mix it into clean water first, before any other fertiliser, booster or crop protection product, so it's evenly distributed before the rest of your feed goes in.
Will I notice the dose is small?
Yes, at 1:6660 it's a concentrated formula, so 1.5ml per 10L is the stated dose. Don't be tempted to add more.
