About Shogun Nutrients
Shogun is a UK-created nutrient range built around its own ingredients, including SmartZen, a built-in yield booster in the base nutrients, and AquaZen, which helps feed spread evenly through coco instead of running straight through it. Shop the Shogun range
Base nutrients for soil. Samurai Terra Grow and Samurai Terra Bloom are one-part liquid feeds for soil and terra mixes, for the vegetative and flowering stages.
Base nutrients for coco. Samurai Coco A&B is a two-part feed for coco coir that's used from vegetative growth right through flowering.
Base nutrients for hydro. Samurai Hydro Grow A&B (soft water) and Samurai Hydro Bloom A&B (soft or hard water) suit NFT, DWC, drip and ebb and flow systems.
Roots and early growth. Shogun Start is for seedlings, cuttings and transplants. Katana Roots builds dense root systems through early growth, and Zenzym uses enzymes to break down dead root matter and keep the root zone clean.
Flowering. Sumo Boost and Sumo Active Boost are bloom enhancers for flower size and density. Dragon Force and PK Warrior 9/18 add phosphorus and potassium in mid to late flower, and neither contains synthetic growth regulators.
Plant health. Shogun CalMag prevents calcium and magnesium shortages, Shogun Silicon strengthens stems and cell walls, and Geisha is a ready-to-use foliar spray.
Choosing the right Shogun products
Start with the base feed that matches your medium: Terra for soil, Coco A&B for coco, or Hydro A&B for water-based systems. Hydro growers should also check whether their tap water is soft or hard, because the hydro feeds are made for each. Then add a root product early on and a bloom enhancer for flowering. Silicon goes into the water first, before the other nutrients, and you should always adjust pH after everything is mixed.
