About Plagron Nutrients & Growing Media
Plagron is a Dutch company with more than 30 years in horticulture, known as much for its growing media as for its nutrients. Shop the Plagron range
Growing media. Plagron Light Mix 50L is a light, airy peat and perlite soil with only about a week's worth of food in it, so you control the feeding from early on. Plagron Coco Premium 50L is a fully buffered and flushed coco with a low EC. Plagron 70/30 50L is a ready-to-use mix of 70% buffered coco and 30% perlite.
Base nutrients for soil. Plagron Terra Grow and Plagron Terra Bloom are concentrated mineral feeds for soil-grown plants, for the vegetative and flowering stages.
Starter kits. The Top Grow Box 100% Terra has everything for one square metre using Terra Grow, Terra Bloom and Green Sensation. The Top Grow Box 100% Natural uses the organic Alga Grow and Alga Bloom instead, for growers who put flavour first.
Roots and early growth. Power Roots uses humic and fulvic acids for soil and coco. Hydro Roots uses phosphorus and boron. Vita Start is a gentle organic stimulator for seedlings and cuttings. Vita Race is an iron-based foliar spray for greener, faster growth.
Flowering. Green Sensation is an all-in-one bloom stimulator for the last four to six weeks of flowering. Plagron PK 13-14 is a classic mid-flower PK booster. Sugar Royal uses amino acids to improve flavour and aroma without raising EC.
Root zone. Pure Zym breaks down dead roots in soil and coco and can be used to rinse substrate before reuse.
Choosing the right Plagron products
If you're growing in soil, Light Mix with Terra Grow and Terra Bloom is a simple, flexible setup, and the Top Grow Box Terra puts it all in one pack. For coco, Coco Premium or 70/30 gives you a clean starting point. Pure Zym isn't suitable for hydroponic systems, so hydro growers should look at Hydro Roots for root support.
