Quick answer: BioBizz is an organic feed range built around a few core bottles. Bio-Grow feeds leafy growth and soil life; Fish-Mix is a fish and sugar-beet feed that boosts growth and microbial activity, mainly in the growth stage; Bio-Bloom is the flowering and fruiting feed; and Top-Max is a flowering stimulator used alongside Bio-Bloom. Most growers start with Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom in a good soil, add Top-Max in flower, and follow the BioBizz feed chart, starting at the lower doses.
Why growers like BioBizz
BioBizz feeds are made from natural ingredients such as sugar-beet extract, fish emulsion, plant extracts and humic acids. They work with the life in your soil: microbes break the feed down and make it available to the roots. That makes them a natural fit for soil growing, and they are popular with people growing tomatoes, chillies, herbs, salad and fruit who want an organic approach.
Because the feeds rely on soil life, BioBizz works best in a living soil or a soil-coco mix. It is less suited to sterile hydroponic systems, where there are fewer microbes to break the feed down.
The core bottles
Bio-Grow: the growth feed
BioBizz Bio-Grow is a liquid growth fertiliser made from sugar-beet extract (vinasse). Our listing gives its NPK as 4-3-6. It supplies nitrogen for leaves and stems and feeds the microbes in the soil, which in turn helps unlock nutrients already there.
- When: from when plants have their first true leaves, through the growth stage. The BioBizz chart keeps Bio-Grow going through flowering too, alongside Bio-Bloom.
- Dose: our product page lists 2 to 4ml per litre during growth. Follow the dose on the label and the BioBizz chart for your soil.
- Works in: soil, coco and mixed media.
Fish-Mix: growth feed and soil booster
BioBizz Fish-Mix combines North Sea fish emulsion with sugar-beet extract. It is rich in natural nitrogen and is particularly good at waking up tired or depleted soil and boosting microbial activity.
- When: mainly in the growth stage. Switch to a bloom feed as plants start flowering.
- Dose: follow the label and the official BioBizz chart, which goes up to 4ml per litre with each watering during growth. It can also be used at 1 to 2ml per litre as a diluted leaf spray.
- Good to know: it does have a natural fishy smell. Once diluted it is mild, but good ventilation helps indoors.
Bio-Grow or Fish-Mix? They do similar jobs in the growth stage, so pick one. BioBizz's own 2025 feed chart says to run Bio-Grow or Fish-Mix, not both. If you use Fish-Mix during growth, the chart says to switch to Bio-Grow when flowering starts.
Bio-Bloom: the flowering feed
BioBizz Bio-Bloom is the main feed for flowering and fruiting. Our listing gives its NPK as 2-7-4, so it is higher in phosphorus and potassium to support flowers and fruit, with a little nitrogen to keep the plant healthy. It also contains plant extracts, enzymes and trace elements.
- When: from the first signs of flowers or fruit through to the final week.
- Dose: our product page lists 2 to 4ml per litre. Follow the label.
- Great for: tomatoes, peppers, chillies, strawberries and flowering houseplants.
Top-Max: the flowering stimulator
BioBizz Top-Max is not a main feed. It is a bloom stimulator made with humic and fulvic acids that help plants take up and move nutrients. BioBizz describe it as a stimulator that boosts and sweetens, and growers use it to support fuller fruit and flowers with good flavour.
- When: through the flowering stage, alongside Bio-Bloom.
- Dose: our product page lists 1 to 4ml per litre depending on stage. The BioBizz chart starts low in early flower and builds up. Follow the label.
The soil: BioBizz All-Mix
BioBizz All-Mix is a rich, pre-fertilised organic soil with peat, perlite, worm castings and BioBizz Pre-Mix. It contains enough food to carry plants for several weeks before you need to add feed. Because it is strong, BioBizz say it is generally too much for delicate seedlings and cuttings, so start young plants in a lighter mix and move them into All-Mix once established.
When your plants are in All-Mix, you will usually need less feed in the first weeks than you would in a light soil. The BioBizz chart has separate columns for All-Mix and Light-Mix for this reason.
Other BioBizz products you may see
The full BioBizz range also includes products such as Root-Juice (a root stimulator), Bio-Heaven (an energy booster), Acti-Vera (a plant health booster), Alg-A-Mic (a seaweed tonic) and CalMag (for soft or RO water). These are optional. Ask us if you want to add any of them to your schedule.
A simple way to start with BioBizz
- Start seedlings or cuttings in a light soil.
- Transplant into All-Mix or another good soil once they have a healthy root system.
- During growth, feed with Bio-Grow or Fish-Mix (not both) at the low end of the dose.
- When flowers or fruit appear, add Bio-Bloom and Top-Max, and carry on with Bio-Grow at the rate your chart shows. If you were using Fish-Mix, switch to Bio-Grow at this point.
- Use plain water in the final week, as shown on the BioBizz chart.
- Check pH. Organic feeds and soil buffer it well, but it is still worth measuring.
BioBizz's own advice on their chart is to be modest rather than generous, and we agree. Organic feeds build up in the soil, so it is easy to overdo them.
FAQs
What is the BioBizz feeding schedule?
BioBizz publish an official week-by-week nutrient schedule on their website, with separate charts for All-Mix and Light-Mix. It shows which bottles to use each week and at what dose. Use the version for your soil.
Can I use BioBizz in coco?
Yes. Bio-Grow, Fish-Mix, Bio-Bloom and Top-Max are all listed as suitable for coco. Because coco has less natural soil life than soil, some growers add microbes or a seaweed tonic.
Can I use BioBizz in hydroponics?
Bio-Bloom and Top-Max are listed as suitable for hydro, but organic feeds in a recirculating tank need more care to keep clean. For full hydro, most growers choose a mineral A and B feed instead.
Do I need all four bottles?
No. Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom cover the basics. Top-Max and Fish-Mix are worthwhile extras once you are comfortable.
